About Us

Al James is the Founder & Head Sleuth of Code Red Caper. Mr. James is a native of Ruston, Louisiana. He received his BS in Business Administration from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, where he graduated with honors. He went on to receive his MBA in Marketing from Pepperdine University in Malibu, California where he was active in intramural sports basketball and tennis, and also served as on Orientation and Registration Leader.

With more than a decade of special event planning both in the private and nonprofit sector, Mr. James has raised millions of dollars for many worthwhile causes. During his six-year tenure as Executive Director of the Dallas Chapter of the Design Industries Foundation Fighting AIDS (DIFFA), DIFFA/Dallas was the number one fundraising chapter for the foundation for five of those years. DIFFA has long been known for creative fundraising, and in 1998 Mr. James received the Absolut Initiative Award from the Dallas Design Initiative for his work supporting the fashion industry in Dallas, and for his contributions to improving the quality of life for persons living with HIV/AIDS in his community.

Mr. James currently resides in Dallas, Texas, but has clients from coast-to-coast. Originally created as a fundraiser for Bryan’s House in Dallas, Mr. James recognized the potential for the event beyond his community. Code Red Caper is available to any company which is interested; however, only one nonprofit group per metropolitan area will be allowed the rights to the event. Code Red Caper is trademarked nationally.
