FamiliesFirst, a family services agency in Sacramento, California, was looking for a new, signature event to replace their eight year old Valentine’s Ball. Attendance and revenue in recent years was on the decline after topping out at $56,000.

They needed an event which was going to re-energize their donor base, as well as have the capacity to attract new donors. Over 300 people attended the first annual Capital City Caper and raised over $145,000 - a new event record for the organization!

Due to the event’s overwhelming success their sister agency in San Jose hired us to launch events in San Jose, California beginning in 2008.
